Like the Real Thing!

I recently had the pleasure probe with a rock band that was doing a lot of real things, but one thing that really struck me is that you set for your rehearsal. It was nothing like on stage.

It is rising bands / performers to understand the importance of their rehearsals just like the real thing. The most destructive thing that happens in a band / artist is that they do not know what to do with his performance space. I've seen bands that are due on the big stage and lost. When I talk about it like "real" stuff I'm talking about places on the stage for every song.

Here is a list of things to work on:

First Positions for each song. For each song in which each band member? Public pressure is a singer, because the song called for it. Is the bassist in the spot light in a certain part of the song?

Second Do not just throw together a list of songs, because it confuses the audience and there must be a structure on your show. Huge band will rent 3 arena to test every part of the show. One arena for the show, an arena for lighting and sound, and an arena for loads and loads of. These bands will rehearse for a month. Prince of practice for 6 weeks from 10 to 12 hours a day, six days a week. Believe me when you go to see Prince show.

Third Your interaction with the audience: Practice what to say between songs and how to start your show. DO NOT WING IT! I am so tired of going to see bands that "Wing" is. These bands showed that suck! plain and simple. If I pay good money at the door, do not expect a show jam. If you do not practice what you then shut up! Another thing is the language. Not everyone agrees with the curse, if you use it make sure the audience is in line with you. If you are not sure about it because then you'll lose fans.

4th Dress: This is important. I've seen more bands that look like they were bums off the street. What bands are you thinking I have no idea. I do not want to pay money to see a band that is un-trained, poorly dressed, and looks like a bunch of bozos if I'm in the circus! Respect your audience do not insult them by not preparing for the show, and finishing the show.

They are so many things that are easy and simple to improve your show that may not be an excuse for taking the stage as a rogue and sounding like a jam session. Their success is not a band out there that knows this simple and easy rules. You realize that there are thousands of bands playing on the road seven days a week, 365 days a year. This is who you are competing with. You have the talent to convince the customer that you are worth money. You need to plan ahead and that means everything! I have a plan to the littlest thing to put on a show that people will not forget. I'm not saying that nothing will go wrong, even though the little things you planned, because they certainly will, but it will allow trained to handle all that goes wrong with ease.

So remember, practice, practice, practice, and when you are done practicing and go to practice your show. Remember, exercise is not a rehearsal!
